Rocking stool
The rocking stool was part of a six week furniture workshop. There were material restrictions that meant that only steel rods of a diameter of up to 8mm could be used.
I worked with the idea of a rocking stool based on the statement:
The rocking movement challenges and forces us to constantly shift position and to sit more correctly in an open sitting position.
The material limitations meant that the construction had to be part of the visual expression of the furniture.
